Lakeland – James Mack Meadows went to be with the Lord on July 26th after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Meadows, Sr. was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 24, 1927 and grew up in the Detroit are attending local schools until his enlistment in the Army in 1945 where he served as a Sergeant in Military Intelligence in France, Austria and Germany.
