Those left to honor Jim’s memory include his wife, Kate of Newton; son, Chris Ryther (Amy Campbell and her children, Garrett and Lindsay; two daughters, Brandy and Holly Ryther, both of Newton; his ten grandchildren, Elaini, C.J., Rhiannon, Krisondra, Madison, Sadie, Greg, Derek, Ronnah, and Dylan; his mom, Bonnie Ryther of Newton; two brothers, Gary (Vicki) Ryther of Newton, and Chuck (Tammy) Ryther of Marion, Iowa; two sisters, Connie (Dale) Raridon of Newton, and Melody Dawson of Newton; and his several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, “grandparents,” Loren and Louise Nearmyer and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne in 1990; and brother, Douglas in infancy.
Jim was an owner/operator truck driver having hauled loads for many companies for 25+ years.
Jim was a member of ABATE. He loved to ride motorcycles. Jim also loved being with his family and friends and working
