James M. Reynolds, the son of Morris D. and Lois I. (Myers) Reynolds, was born December 13, 1951 in Newton, Iowa. He was a graduate of Newton High School in 1970.
On September 2, 1927, James was united in marriage to Sheryl A. Sojka in Newton. He was a tool maker and started with the Maytag Company on July 16, 1973. Jim enjoyed hunting, black powder hunting, and fishing.
His mother, Lois in1997, preceded James in death. Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Sheryl; his two daughters, Stephanie and Elizabeth Reynolds both of Iowa City, Iowa; his father, Morris D. Reynolds of Newton; his brother and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Teresa of Marion, Iowa; his sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and James Lisonbee of Magna, Utah and his many aunts and uncles.
