James M. Lee of Troy died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow. He was 75. Jim was born January 5, 1940 on a small farm 4 ½ miles Southeast of New Plymouth, Idaho to Harold E. and Gladys M Barrickman Lee. He grew up on the farm, attended school and graduated from high school. He joined the Air Force in 1958 and served as an Explosive Ordinance Disposal Technician. During his career he was stationed in England, Oregon, Alaska (during the 1962 earthquake!), Arizona, Korea, Oklahoma and Germany. While on leave from Alaska, he and Elaine F. Schultz were married on April 30, 1967 at Ola, Idaho. They continued in the Air Force until his discharge, lived at Drumright, OK, moving to Moscow in 1984. Jim worked for Fork Refrigeration and later at Sears in Moscow and moved to Troy in 1987. Jim enjoyed model railroading, fishing and NASCAR.
