JAMES F. quot;SMOKEYquot; LLOYD, SR., died Friday, May 16, 2003 at Prince William Hospital, Manassas, VA. Mr. Lloyd was a retired Lt. Colonel with the United States Marine Corps, retiring in 1971. Post retirement, Mr. Lloyd earned an AAS Degree in Horticulture, was a realtor, greenhouse owner/operator and was currently working as a Horticulture Specialist at Lowes of Manassas, VA. He was preceded in death by his son David B. Lloyd. Survivors include his wife Margaret L. Lloyd, his children James F. Lloyd, Jr., Steven J. Lloyd, Diane E. Lloyd-Yianilos, Karen L. Russ, Kathleen A. Lloyd, and two sisters, Jacqueline F. Moore and Janice F. Leppert. Also surviving are his grandchildren Kristen Thomas, Michael B. Lloyd, William F. Clapp, III, Nicholas R. Fields, and Emily D. Russ.
