James Lee Clark, Sr., 86 of Ft. Oglethorpe died Sunday, December 3, 2006 at his residence. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga and the North Georgia area he was a United States Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie Bennett Clark; sister, Alene King; brother, William “Lefty” Clark. Survivors include daughter, Joyce (Eddie) Thorne, Hixson; son, James Lee Clark, Jr., Ringgold; grandchildren, Jerrod and Jacob Thorne.
