James Lee Addison, 66, Anderson, died July 1, 2005 at residence after an extended illness.
He was born July 4, 1938 in Summitville, Indiana, and was a lifelong Madison County resident.
He owned A & A Backhoe Service and was also a bus driver for South Madison School Corporation as well as various other jobs. He served his country in the National Guard.
He was a member of Bethany Christian Church. He loved races, going to the Redmen’s Lodge and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shirley Brown Addison; three sons, Gary & wife Tina Addison, Terry & wife Terri Ann Addison and Larry & wife Debbie Addison all of Anderson; foster son, Frank & wife Connie Keller of Anderson; nine grandchildren, Chassidy Addison, Blissten Addison of Anderson, Brandi & husband Tom Bryant of Pendleton, David & wife Angie Addison of Connersville, Steven Addison & fiancee Sybraina of Anderson, Richard Dollar of Anderson, Daniel & wife Alia Dollar of Anderson, Zach Dollar of Anderson and Amanda Keller; six great grandchildren, Tucker McQuaid, Jessica & Derrick Bryant, Tyler & Justin Addison and Gracie Addison; and many special friends.
He was preceded by his parents, Virgil & Lillian Thurber Addison; and a brother, Jack Addison.
