James “Pete” Leatherwood, age 84, of Odenville, passed away January 20, 2011. He was retired from Folgers Coffee with 40 years of service during which time he constructed the largest coffee display in the United States in Winfield AL. He was a Past President of the Heart of Dixie Railroad Club and an active original member of the Erwin High School Boosters. He served during WWII in the Air Force and was a member of the Sacred Heart Anglican Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Leatherwood.
