James Landon Crowell, age 71 of Kennedy, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at home. Services will be Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel with Bro.
He was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Vaudine Crowell; and one brother, Luther Paul Crowell.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Marie Sirmon Crowell; daughters, Michelle Trimm (Greg), Lori Stanford (Scott), and Wendy Stacks (Josh); sister, Barbara Johnson (Colon); his grandchildren, Kyla Trimm, Ally Trimm, Erica Stanford, Chasidy Stanford, Clay Stanford, Cole Stanford, Mason Goodin, Brady Taylor, and Hayes Crowell; and one great-grandchild, Madilyn Green.
Landon served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for the State Highway Department and spent most of his life driving a log truck. He loved old cars but more than anything he loved his family.
