James Lewis Marshall, 78 of Centralia, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. James was born January 26, 1937 in Centralia, son of Levi Marshall and Cecel (Watkins) Marshall. He married Beulah McKinney on July 17, 1954 in Salem and they later divorced. He later married Doris Hirsch on October 2, 1971 in Centralia and they later divorced.

He is survived by ten children: Jimmy L. Marshall of Bowling Green, KY, Darrell Marshall of Mt. Vernon, Bonnie Anderson and husband Jeff of Belleville, Steve Marshall and wife Bonnie of West Virginia, Peggy Richeson and husband Kerry of Patoka, Ronnie Marshall of Centralia, Randy Goodman of Vandalia, Johnnie Tennyson of California, Kathy Thompson and husband Darren of Centralia and Brian Marshall of Centralia; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters: Christine Mays, Dorothy Weaver, Francios Perry, Ada Parks and Silvia Marshall, and six brothers: Dale Marshall, Delbert Marshall, Gale Marshall, Evert Marshall, Jack Marshall, and Donald Marshall. James enjoyed watching TV and spending time with his family and friends.
