James L. Bollinger, 89, of Orlando, FL, passed away September 5th, 2012 at University Hospital Denver, Colorado. He was born May 13th 1923 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to George Bollinger and Anna Gruenwald. He married Mariette G. VanLoo of Mechelin, Belgium and together they moved to the United States shortly after their marriage.

James enlisted in the US Army as a teenager and made a long career as a soldier. He is the father of four children. He was a talented artist and photographer. He was a private pilot. He proudly served his country in Vietnam and World War II.

He is survived by his children, Loni Bollinger of Colorado Springs, Linda Bollinger of Palmer Lake, Jim Bollinger of Elizabeth and Leslie McNew of West Palm Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Michael Hogan of Colorado Springs, Michelle Laurienti of Rawlins, WY, Aeron Ross of Ft. Lupton, Amber Curry of Brighton and Daniel Bollinger of Parker.

Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Mariette, and both of his parents.
