He was born in Okinawa, Japan on August 13, 1974. He was preceded in death by a brother Larry Scott Strong.
James Kyle was a US Army veteran and served in the Army Reserves.
He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. He was an avid Texas A & M football fan.
He is survived by a daughter, Hallie Ann Cox Harper and her husband, Jacob; stepdaughter, Shyanne Washington; grandson, Easton Harper; parents, Larry and Ginger Strong; brother, Larry DeWayne Strong; good friend, Brian Stone.
