DURHAM- Mr. James “Jimmy” Alton McGee, 76, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020.
Mr. McGee was born on June 12, 1944 to Alton and Clara McGee in Durham, NC. He retired from GTE and Verizon after 40 plus years as a Business Installation Technician. Jimmy was a lifetime member of Page Road Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. Jimmy loved going places with his family and friends. He will be remembered by all those blessed to have known him.
Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Clara McGee, and his wife, Barbara Reeves McGee.
Mr. McGee is survived by his son, Greg McGee (Billie); daughter, Angela Reaves; and grandchildren, Madison McGee, Hunter McGee, and Jordyn Reaves.
