James “Jim” Noonan, 80, of Utica died peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family on September 16, 2016. He was born on September 13, 1936 to Walter and Marie (Kastner) Noonan at St. Mary’s hospital in LaSalle.
He married Irene Pizano on July 20, 1957. She passed on January 17, 1981. He then married Lois (Stalker) Morris on November 10, 1992.
Jim attended St. Patricks grade school, St. Bede Academy and IVCC. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he worked at Electric Utilities, Carus Chemical, and Champion Prismatic, retiring in 1996.
Survivors include his wife Lois, three daughters; Cynthia (Jeff) Sebben of Spring Valley, Constance (Frank) McCann of San Diego, CA, and Susan Houzenga of Morrison. Three sons; James Jr (Leslie) of Spring Valley, Gary of Spring Valley, and Joseph of Manilus. Four stepchildren; Linda (Bruce) Skerston of Oglesby, Bonnie (Brian) Mitchell of New Orleans, LA, Cheryl Morris of Cisco, TX, and Gary of Peru. Twenty three grandchildren and eighteen great-granchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Eileen Bottomley of Utica and one brother Richard of Pahrump,NV.
