James “Jim” Louis Hogler, age 72, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at his home in Manassas, VA. He was born on June 14, 1943 in Washington, D.C. to the late Louis and Jane (Bredl) Hogler. Jim was a 1965 VMI graduate. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal. After retiring from the Army, LTC Hogler was a Senior Vice President at CACI. Jim also was an avid Nationals and Capitals Fan. Preceded in death by his parents and daughter: Cynthia Lynn Hogler. Survivors include a son: James Louis Hogler, Jr. of Centreville, VA; sister: Janet L. Hogler of Ashburn, VA; fur grandson Bentley; and good friend Barbara Harris.
