James "Jim Blanco" White

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, and Friend.  Husband of Marie, Father of Ann Cole (Stephen), Mary, Barbara Gorham (Berto), James (Florianne Aresta), Peter (Tina Alarid), Grandfather of Stephanie and Allison Cole, Anthony and Olivia Gorham, Marco and Eric White, Evan and Vivian White.  Santa Fe High Class of 1947, Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Graduate of UNM School of Engineering.  As an engineer Jim designed many highways, bridges, and waterways.  He worked with multiple agencies to remediate the Terrero mine and improve the Pecos fishery, just down the road from his beloved family cabin.  He was twice president of the Board of Registration of the New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers.  He volunteered for St. Vincent de Paul and Boy Scout Troop #57.  An avid hunter and fisherman, Jim loved the great outdoors.
