James Joseph O’Donnell, Jr. of Haverhill formerly of Plymouth and Philadelphia, PA., died peacefully on August 4th. He was the husband of the late Patricia Ann (Ryder) O’Donnell. Born in Philadelphia, PA., on September 8, 1947, son of the late James J. and Dorothy J. (Voke) O’Donnell. He was educated at No. East Catholic High School and George Williams College in Illinois. James worked in sales for most of his life working for the 7-11 convenience stores. He been a resident of Plymouth since 1978. Back in the early years of Jim’s life he played and coached soccer and played football and boxing. He is survived by his son James J. O’Donnell, III and his wife Jessica of Haverhill and was the father of the late Michael O’Donnell. Also survived by his brother Thomas O’Donnell of Philadelphia, PA. and Dorothea Crowley of Scranton, PA.. Grandfather of Madeline O’Donnell of Haverhill.
