James J. Lethiot, 52, of Ottawa, died Friday afternoon, August 17, at his home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 22, in St. Patricks Church in Ottawa with the Rev. Philip Halfacre, Pastor, officiating. Mr. Lethiot was born on Jan. 26, 1955, in Chicago to James J. and Rita (Pacini) Lethiot.
He served in the United States Air Force. He was a self-employed contractor. He attended St. Patricks Church in Ottawa and was a member of Carpenters Local 195.
He is survived by his mother, of Ottawa, four daughters, Elaine (Andres) Cabrera, of Joliet, Nora Lethiot, Margaret Lethiot, and Grace Lethiot, all of Ottawa, two grandchildren Sebastian and Ella Cabrera, his twin brother, John, of Ottawa, and two sisters, Rochelle Lethiot, of Mission Viejo, California, and Marilyn Lethiot, of Pueblo, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his father, and one brother Andrew. Memorials may be directed to Easter Seal Treatment Center.
