James Howard Loftin 1924-2011 James Howard Loftin, age 87, of Newnan passed away Friday, May 13, 2011. Born May 6, 1924 in Carroll County, GA to the late Hope & Dovie (Yates) Loftin . In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Rev. Willie Joe Loftin and C. J. Loftin, wife, Thelma (Rogers) Loftin, sons; Michael Loftin and James A. Loftin & granddaughter, Kelly Spivey. Mr. Loftin is survived by his daughters; Janice Pidgeon of Newnan and Barbara (Chuck) Waller of Chatsworth. Grandchildren; Micheal Shane (Meloni) Loftin of Loganville, Robert (Robyn) Waller of Chatsworth, Rebecca (Ronnie) Patterson of Chatsworth, Angela (Chris) Reese of Newnan, Wendy, Susan and Teresa and 9 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers & sisters, Selma Duncan, Sara Henderson of Fayetteville, Leo (Betty) Loftin of Newnan, Yates Loftin of Columbus, Faye (Tom) O’Dell of Jackson, Ray (Christy) Loftin.
