PARKER CITY – James Howard Blevins, 86, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Willowbend Living Center with his loving family at his bedside. He was born April 6, 1928 in Jamestown, Tennessee to Oby and Arlena (Kidd)
Blevins. James attended school in Jamestown, Tennessee. He was the owner/operator of Blevins Custom Homes for 40 years retiring in 2003. James was a 57 year member of the
James is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Ella Jean (Hill) Blevins, daughter Marsha Thrash (husband-James); Las Vegas, Nevada; son Steven Blevins (wife-Darlene), Muncie; daughter Joy Blevins; Parker City, son James M. Blevins (companion-Echoe) Muncie; brother Hall Blevins (wife-Dimple), Muncie; sister Mable Williamson, Selma,, sister Beulah Terry; Muncie; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Levi, Frances and Bruce Blevins and sisters Rose Judd, Hazel Blevins and Minnie Blevins.
