Survived by wife Margaret G. Thornton, sons : David Bearse of Birmingham, Paul Fey of Madison and John T. Fey of Goodlettsville, daughters: Mary Everett of Madison, and Julia Ashbee of Mobile, AL
Mr. Thornton was retired from the Military and Hartford Insurance Co.
His cremated remains will be interred at Nashville Nashville Cemetery, at a later date.
