James Heilman, 85, of Wallingford, departed this life on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at his home in Wallingford. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Powers) Heilman.
James was born on July 21, 1925, in Meriden, CT, a son of the late Norman and Sigrid (Malmquist) Heilman.
Upon graduation from the Choate School he entered the US Air Force where he became a captain and piloted the B-25 during war years.
