James “Duke” Giannotti, 93, of Bristol, beloved husband of sixty-eight years to Mary (Grossi) Giannotti, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2010, at the McLean Health Center in Simsbury.
He was born December 11, 1916 in Bristol.
Besides his wife, Mary, he is survived by his three sons and their spouses, Maurie and Janet Giannotti of Hobe Sound, FL, Louis and Carleen Giannotti of Annapolis, MD, and Bruce and Pam Giannotti of Austin, TX; his six grandchildren and their spouses, Maureen and Bill Murphy of Potomac, MD, Steven and Linda Giannotti of Oviedo, FL, Louise and Bryan McKernan of Crofton, MD, Courtney and Mark Dupcak of Annapolis, MD, Dr. Cara and Travis Lye of Houston, TX, and Lia Giannotti of Austin, TX; his five great-grandchildren, Colin, Jack, Annabella, Bryan, and Drew; his three sisters, Myrtle Ashley, Rose Scheidel, and Mildred Kozikowski, several nieces and nephews.
