Middlebury – Mr. James George Lyon, age 89 of Middlebury passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, June 16th, 2015 at VITAS Health Care Center @ St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the wife of Mrs. Florence (Seiler) Lyon.
Mr. Lyon was born December 1, 1925 a son to the late George and Marjorie (Galpin) Lyon.
He proudly served his country having retired from the US Navy and being a distinguished member of the Navy Seabee’s. He also worked for C L& P for a time.
Besides his Wife Mr. Lyon is survived by a daughter; Catherine Lyon of Middlebury, three sons; George Lyon and his companion Karen, Thomas Lyon and his wife Peggy all of Thomaston, and Charles Lyon and his wife Teresa of Port Charlotte, FL Grandchildren; Christopher George and his wife Michelle, Geo Lyon, Steven Lyon and his wife Lisa, Pamela Sue Lyon, Thomas Lyon and his wife Christine and Joshua Lyon, He was also blessed with Great-Grandchildren; Collin , Dylan, Karlee, Nealee, Tanner and Daniel.
