James Frank Lapcheske, 59, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021, at University of Iowa Hospitals.
James was born June 19, 1961, in Des Moines, to Joseph and Mary Kay (Feeley) Lapcheske.
James worked with his father as a plasterer as a young man. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and graduated from Dowling High School in 1979. He was an avid walker, enjoyed outdoors, dining out, country music and fireworks.
James is survived by his siblings, Debbie Forrest, Linda Lapcheske and Mike (Cynthia) Lapcheske.
