James Elmer Mather, 74, passed away August 27, 2014 in Pueblo, CO. He was born September 5, 1939 in Larned, Kansas to Max D. and Ruby B. (Slightom) Mather. James was united in marriage to Linda L. Miller. He was a carpenter by trade, owning and operating his own business ‘Gem Siding’ for 45 years. Mr. Mather is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Donna M. Mather (Nick Monroe); grandchildren, Logan Mather Monroe and Kynan James Monroe; sisters, Marian Meggers and Ellen “Babe” Green (Jerrel); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Max D. Mather; his parents; brother, Melvin “Bud” Mather; and sister, Durl Lippolt.
