James E. “Ed” Ratliff, 64, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, March 15th, at his residence. James was born in Kings Creek, KY on July 21, 1946, a son of the late Verna (Frazier) and William Ratliff. He served in the U.S. Army as a Pvt in the Vietnam War. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Rising Sun American Legion Post #59.
James is survived by
a daughter, Jamie Ratliff, of FL; three sons Michael Ratliff, of Lawrenceburg, IN; Eddie Ratliff, Jr., of Aurora, IN; Jonathan Ratliff, of FL; three sisters, Frances Withered, of Dillsboro, IN; Belinda Harris, of Cottageville, SC; Ramona Ratliff, of Wesley Chapel, FL.
