Jim never just existed. He threw his entire being into everything he did. Jim didn’t just love his wife, he adored her; he worshipped her. He didn’t just raise his kids; he taught them honesty and integrity, and he instilled strong values of hard work and self-reliance; he raised his children to be strong and capable: like he was.

His most recent (and possibly favorite) role was that of Grandpa. Grandpa Jim was all of the intensity with ten times the softness, and anyone who saw them together knew how much Max loved his Grandpa, and how much Grandpa loved his “BOY!”  His passion could be seen in everything he did. Jim left no task incomplete, even if it took the last minute of his day. We are devastated by the loss of our “rock.”

Jim is survived by his wife, Stacey of Lena, his three children; Drew (Leah), Torianna, and Trey all of Madison, his grandson, Max, his mother, Beatrice, of Lanark, and his siblings; Keith (Lisa Seas) of Stockton, Marcett (Chris) Dickman of Lanark, nephews Trevor, Austin, Keenan, and Mikel, and numerous other treasured family members.  He is preceded in death by his father, James Griffin Sr.
