James D. Neff, 89, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on December 22, 2012, of natural causes. James was born February 6, 1923, in Raymondville, Missouri to Al and Nellie Neff and has lived in Lakeland since 1960. James was a restaurateur and had owned many restaurants in the state of Florida and was also a master chef. He was a Veteran of WW II serving in the Army.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Beth Neff; son, Kevin B. Neff of Lakeland; daughters, Lauara Lee Rostron of Missouri, Vicki Cornish of Lakeland and Jamie K Neff of Lakeland; sister, Juanita Hopper of Missouri and a host of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his son, Kirk R. Neff and sister, Cleopha Kerstin.
