James D. Pallante of Burlington, died Sunday, January 16th, at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly, he was 76 years of age. Born in Mt. Holly on January 28, 1934 he has been a long time Burlington resident. Mr. Pallante had been employed as a dyer for the Eagle Dye & Finish Company in Mt. Holly for 35 years before the company closed.

A member of All Saints R.C. Church, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved Friday night poker games with his family and was a devoted fan of the Phillies and the Eagles sports teams. Son of the late Carmen and Mary Pallante, he is survived by his wife of 55 years; Rose (nee Mroczkowski) Pallante, his children: Roseann Cook of Winter Haven, FL., Cindy Simmons of Pemberton, NJ., James Pallante of Burlington, Arlene Podraza of Edgewater Park and Lisa Ruggeri of Burlington Twsp. Also surviving are his siblings: Christine Kelly of Burlington, Anthony Pallante of Burlington, Joseph Pallante of Mt. Holly, Josephine Damico of Mt. Holly, Louis Pallante and John Pallante both of Barnegat as well as 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
