James A. Cucco, 84 of the Silver Ridge North section of Toms River died Friday April 11, 2014 at Holiday Care Center, Toms River. He was born in Jersey City and lived in Somerset, NJ before moving to Toms River in 1990. Mr. Cucco was a Draftman for Colgate Palmolive in Piscataway for many years before retiring in 1989.
He was a communicant and usher at St. Maximillian Kolbe Church, Toms River, a former member of the Silver Ridge Park Trustee and former member of the First Aid and a member of the Silver Ridge Park Men’s Club. He also volunteered at Community Medical Center. He loved gardening, bowling, working on puzzles and Bocci. He was predeceased by his two sisters and three brothers.
Surviving is his wife Ada Gazzola Cucco; his son Joseph and his wife Lyn; his daughter Lisa and her husband Michael, three grandchildren Christina, Morgan and Madison, his sister Jennie and several nieces and nephews.
