James Clifton Strickland, 79, of Graham, passed away on Thursday 6/23/2022 at his residence. A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Sandra Loy Strickland, who survives and the son of Thomas Edison Strickland and Cora Long Strickland, both deceased. He was a member of Wicker Street Baptist Church and veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Strickland Murphy and a son, Jeffrey Alan Strickland. Also surviving are his beloved grandchildren, Megan Nicole Murphy, Alyssa Danielle Javadi (Kamran), Amanda Brooke Strickland, Christopher Jessie Strickland and Colton Thomas Strickland; great grandchildren Milyn, Cohen and Lemi; a sister, Marie Ireland and his brothers, Ronald Strickland and Johnny Strickland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Christopher Strickland
