James Clay Sutherland, 66, of Phoenix, passed away June 16, 2015. Jim, fondly known as Cheese was born April 18, 1949 in McLeansboro, Illinois and moved to Arizona as a young boy. He attended Kiva Elementary and Scottsdale High Schools.
Jim was well versed in various trades, among them having been a silversmith, paramedic, a superintendant of construction and a tuner and refinisher of pianos.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Jaimee Oliver and her husband Paul; two granddaughters, Kelsi and Kelyn Dettlaff; sister, Lynn Sutherland; nephew, Dane Blake Burnam and many precious friends who he considered family.
