Williamsport, MD – James Charles “Jim” Kalbfleisch, 76, of Williamsport, MD and formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.
He was born on February 22, 1946, in Dundalk, MD to the late John Henry and Mildred Violet (Frampton) Kalbfleisch.
He was a 1964 graduate of Dundalk High School in Dundalk, MD.
Jim was employed with Glessner Communications in Hagerstown, MD for 38 years, retiring in 2014 as Sales Manager.
He served on the Williamsport Town Council for 27 years. He was honored in 2018 with the Maryland Municipality League for 23 years of service to his community and is recognized on the Hall of Honor in Annapolis, MD.
Jim previously served with the Rotary Clubs in Hagerstown, MD and Williamsport, MD.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jo Kalbfleisch whom he married on January 9, 1969; daughters Kristen, Koren and her husband Brian, and Lauren and her husband Robert; beloved grandson Kyle.
He was predeceased by a sister Patricia Allerton.
