James Charles Allison

On January 1, 2021 we lost out beloved husband, father, grandfather.
He served two tours in Vietnam as a hospital corpsman. After these two tours as an Air Crewman, he married Pamela Weingartz, August 20, 1970 at Great Lakes Naval Hospital. They were ordered to Southern California and to their marriage they added two additional children, Heather and Craig to join Janie and Michael. In 1975, Jim was transferred to Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas with an internship at Great Lakes Naval Hospital until his retirement in 1981, upon his retirement he moved his family to Nyssa, Oregon, where over the next 30 years he served his community.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela, daughters; Janie (Johnny) and Heather (Billy), son Craig, 2 granddaughters; Jordan and Mackenzie Ratcliff, and 2 grandsons; Chad (Elizabeth) and Brett (Sarah).
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings and son Michael.
