James E. Carroll, July 18, 1927-November 22, 2010, of Orlando, FL. He was originally from Birmingham, AL. He was born in Nauvoo, AL in 1927, during his childhood he lived in the Birmingham area. James joined the Navy in 1944 and the served again during the Korean War on the USS Battleship Missouri. James and Doris were married in 1949 in Birmingham. After he was discharged he worked and continued his education in Birmingham. In 1965 the family of five moved to Titusville, FL where James worked for TWA at Cape Kennedy and finished his education. The family moved to Orlando, FL in 1971 where James worked for Walt Disney in A/C and refrigeration Management. He retired in 1992. His large yard, Grandson, traveling, dog and family kept him busy. James was a member of First Methodist Churches in Center Point, AL, Titusville, FL and Orlando, FL. James, Husband, Dad, Granddaddy, Brother and Friend will be greatly missed but with us always. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Doris Giddens Carroll; children, Donna M Carroll, Daughter, James T. “Tim” Carroll, Son, and Lisa Carroll Haupt, Daughter, and Dale J. Haupt, Son-in-Law, Garrett A. Haupt, Grandson, Jeanette Carroll Lindsey, Sister, Betty Carroll Aaron, Sister, Zoe Lab companion.
