Mr. James Carlton Hill, age 84, of Lanett, Alabama, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 5, 2014, at Lanier-East Alabama Medical Center in Valley, Al.
Mr. Hill was born on Nov. 7, 1929, in Fairfax, Alabama, to Carlton B. and Wilma Britton Hill.
Mr. Hill was a loving husband and father. He worked for 42 years at Cain Auto Sales. He was a faithful member of the Lanett First Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his children Dianne (Gerald) Boddie of Sylacauga, Al., Faye (Thom) Williamson of Odenville, Al., Rev. Jim (DeAnna) Hill of Bethany, Ok., Becky (James) Fuller of West Point, Ga., five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of friends.
Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 58 years Bobbie Jean Hill, his grandson Rev. Geron Boddie, his sister Betty Hill, and his brother Jay Hill.
