James Robert “Bobby” Lewis, age 54, of Westminster, Maryland, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at his home.

Born on December 20, 1958 in Harford County, Maryland, he was the son of Gertrude “Gertie” B. Hill of New Windsor, MD and the late Okey L. Lewis, Sr.

Bobby worked for over 15 years in the maintenance department of McDaniel College and was very dedicated to his work.  He considered McDaniel College his home away from home.  He attended Calvary Christian Fellowship in Westminster and was an avid motorcycle rider.  He was a founding member and treasurer of the Iron Thunder Motorcycle Club.  Deeply loved by his family, he was considered the most kindhearted and gentle man they ever knew.

Surviving in addition to his mother are daughter, Stefanie L. Cooper and husband Calvin of Charles Town, WV; granddaughters, Sofie and Greenley Cooper; siblings, John P. Lewis of Hanover, PA, Ruth Ann Day of Hampstead, Cynthia L. Allen of Frederick, Shawn E. Null, William D. Null, and Edward E. Null, Jr. all of Westminster, and Chris Null of FL.; step-father, Ted Hill of New Windsor; former spouse, Karen J. Proctor of Harpers Ferry, WV; best friend, Karl Schultz (Pres. of Iron Thunder Motorcycle Club); and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Okey L. Lewis, Jr.
