James William (Bill) Conine, 57, of Newnan, Georgia passed away after a long battle with cancer on May 19, 2015, with his wife and daughter at his side. He was born in Atlanta on August 2, 1957 and raised in Forest Park, Georgia.
He honorably served his country in the US Navy and is a “plank owner” of the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70), commissioned in Newport News, Va. The family moved from Norfolk, Va. to Lilburn, Ga. in 1985, and then moved to Newnan in 2000 and worked at Yokogawa until he retired early for cancer treatments.
He leaves behind is wife of 31 years, Diane Conine, his daughter, Kelly Conine, his mother Luella Conine and three sisters.
