James A. King of Long Branch entered into eternal peace on September 4, 2014. James was born on December 17, 1961 to the late Great Jesse James King and Lula McLawhorn-King. He attended Red Bank public schools and graduated from Red Bank Regional High School in 1980. At the age of 16, he was gainfully employed at JJ King Tire Co. in Red Bank, NJ. James was a loyal and dedicated employee of Red Bank Regional High School systems for the past 29 years. He took pleasure in encouraging young people to always do the right thing. James enjoyed music, he was known as “DJ Silky Cowboy”. He had great interest in Classic cars and was a member of the “LSC Lincoln Club”. He also took great passion in representing for the Steelers football team.  He believed in giving to those in need and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

James leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his 3 Children; Shaundel King of Red Bank, NJ, Shaquashia Agolio of Neptune, NJ and DaVon King of Aderdeen, NJ; 2 Grandchildren Jaa-Ziya and Jhia Jones: a Step-Mother Helen King of Winterville, NC: 3 Brothers; Charles Payton and Gary King both of Greenville, NC, Dr. Calvin King of Winterville, NC: 4 Sisters, Jessie King-Little of Winterville, NC, Charlene King of Greenville, NC, Tawanda Cooper of Neptune, NJ, Jennifer Brooks of Eatontown, NJ and Lisa Noel of Winterville, NC; a Special Companion Monica Dean; a loving Aunt Annie-Faye Pacshal of Red Bank, NJ; 2 Great Aunts Fannie Garris of Paterson, NJ and Annie Roscoe of East Orange, NJ: 2 Great Uncles Al King of Bronx, NY, Roy King of Teaneck, NJ; a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and Co-workers.
