James Allen Bryant, 66, of Central City, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. James was born April 15, 1948, in Centralia, the son of John Bryant and Virginia (Felchlia) Bryant.
He married Sandra Cary in September of 1971 in Salem and she survives in Central City.
In addition to his wife of 42 years, he is also survived by two daughters, Connie Bryant of Centralia and Cary Day and husband Josh of Centralia; two sisters: Marilyn McClellan of Woodriver and Juli Hatcher and husband George of Centralia; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: John Bryant, a sister-in-law: Jan Bryant, and a brother-in-law: Mike McClellan.James served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed to hunt and fishing.
He also enjoyed tinkering with his CB Radio and woodworking. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and taking rides on his scooter through the neighborhood with his dog, Pepper.
