Jake Henry Gallegos
Jake Henry Gallegos, 68, passed away at George E. Wahlen Ogden Veterans Home on November 5, 2016. He was born March 30, 1948 in Del Norte, Colorado to Alex Gallegos and Flora Medina Gallegos. He lived most of his life in Ogden and graduated from Ben Lomond High School. He joined the Marines in 1966; he served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1972.
Jake was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed wood working, football, baseball and camping.
Jake is survived by his children, Anita Gallegos, Amanda Polo, Anthony Martinez and James Martinez; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Cynthia Lucas, Victor Gallegos, Donna Alarid, Veronica Gallegos, Tobias Gallegos, Lloyd Gallegos, Charlie Gallegos and Esther Gallegos. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Robert and Arthur and sisters Loretta and Carmen.
