Jadwiga Urbaniak, 89, of New Britain, with her family at her side, took the hand of her loving husband, Marian M. Urbaniak as he led her to her heavenly home. She was born on December 29, 1932 in Rowno, Poland to the late Piotr and Kazimiera Pink. Jadwiga married the love of her life on June 16, 1949 and they enjoyed 61 years of happiness together. She retired from Corbin Russwin in 1992 after many years of hard work. Jadwiga was a caring and compassionate person who would do anything for her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters; Christine Breski and Irena Markow and her husband Jerry; two wonderful grandchildren, Adam Markow and his wife Ashley and Victoria Teeter and her husband Andrew and two great grandchildren Olivia and Sophia Markow. She also leaves her brother John Pink and her sister-in-law Stasia Pink of Canada, and her sister Maria Kemp of England. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her son-in-law Richard Breski, her brothers Walter and Stanley Pink, her sister Teresa Pink and her sister-in-law Betty Pink. Jadwiga’s family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Hartford Healthcare Hospice for all of their care and assistance. Her family would also like to thank Jane and Ted Prokop for being such great friends and neighbors and for including her in many evenings together up on their deck.
