Funeral Services for Jacqueline Whitney Hover, age 93, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022, will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 12:00 pm at First Southern Baptist Church of Pearlington.Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at First Southern Baptist Church of Pearlington.Burial will be in Napoleon Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.Rev. Jim Allen will officiate the service.Jacqueline was born at home in Westonia, MS, she grew up in Bayou LaCroix. She was an Elementary School Teacher; she helped her husband, Willard, run his Conoco Super Service in Slidell, LA; an artist who co-owned The Pour House Ceramic Studio. Jacqueline wrote poetry in her later years; she stayed active and loved spending time with her family.She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 devoted years, James Willard Hover; her parents, Britt “Jack” Whitney and Ida Angelina Whitney; son, James Britt Hover.Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Debra Darline Hover (Dennis) Sharff; son, Kevin Ceylon Hover; grandsons, James Jesse (Christy) Hover and Chad Bradford Hover; great grandson, James Stephen Hover; daughter-in-law, Tracy Hover.
