Obituary of Jacqueline Mary O’Connor
O’Connor, Jacqueline of Saginaw passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Heartland Health Care in Bridgeport, following a lengthy illness. She was 68 years old. Jacqueline Mary Miller was born on November 17, 1945 to the late Walter and Louise (Bugenske) Miller. She was then raised by Walter and Myrtle Miller following the death of her mother, Louise. She married the late Robert W. O’Connor on June 5, 1965 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Saginaw. He preceded her in death March 23, 2010. Jacqueline graduated from Saginaw High School, Class of 1964. She was employed by Women’s OB GYN at Covenant Hospital. Jacqueline was a faithful member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
She also enjoyed Scouting when her boys were young, gardening, trips to the Casino, but most of all her grandchildren, and her dog, “Logan”.
Surviving are two sons: Rodney (Traci) O’Connor of Saginaw, Bryan (Jimmie) O’Connor of Fisher, Indiana; four grandchildren: Jake, Rockelle, Nicholas and Andrew; Two sisters: Susan Frost and Nancy (James) Derderian; and one brother James (Margaret) Jorgensen. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Charlene Scott, two brothers-in-law: Douglas Scott and Donald Frost.
