Mrs. Jacqueline Hodnett McGinty, 82, of Auburn, Al. passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Oak Park in Auburn.
Mrs. McGinty is survived by her three children, Marty (Collie) McGinty of Nashville, Tn., Toby McGinty of Nashville, Tn., and Kay Holloway of Opelika, Al.; brother, Harold “Hootie” Hodnett of Valley, Al.; six grandchildren, Stephanye Holloway (Tyrone) Bell, Casi (Brian Roe) McGinty, Roy Edward McGinty, Patrick McGinty, Chelsea (Alex) Bagley, Melanye Holloway; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy McGinty; brother, Phillip Hodnett.
Mrs. McGinty was born on December 6, 1928 in Alabama. She was a member of the Auburn United Methodist Church. She had retired from Auburn University after many years of service.
