She was born March 21, 1938, in Indianapolis to Joseph and Cora L. (Bice) Peck.

Jacqueline dedicated her life to her family and to being an active member of the Lawrence-based Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She worked as a real estate agent from 1980 until 2000 but spent the majority of her time caring for children from the local Indianapolis community at her in-home daycare. This remained her passion until the time of her passing.

Jacqueline is survived by her husband of over 59 years Emerson L. Mattick; sons: Jeffrey J. (Kathy) Mattick of Lawrence; Douglas E. (Audrey) Mattick of Pendleton; grandchildren: Elizabeth (Rob) Harber, Stephanie (Jon) Ginder, Bailey Butrum, Tabitha Franklin, Cora Butrum and Joe Mattick; great-grandchildren: Jeffery and Kali Harber; sisters: Delores E. Cooper of Bargersville and Bonnie J. (Jim) Hammond of Nashville, IN; nephew Chad Cooper.

Jacqueline’s daughter (Angelia) fell ill with breast cancer and passed away in 1997. It is the family’s hope that the two will reunite in Heaven, eternally at peace together.
