SSGT Jacob Lucas Livingston, United States Air Force, 23 of Lake City died on December 26, 2004 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Okinawa, Japan. A native of Lake City, Jacob joined the Air Force after graduating from Columbia High School in 1999. Upon completion of basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, Jacob then completed technical school at Kessler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS. Jacob was currently serving in his first re-enlistment and was planning to make a career in the Air Force having already served for five years. Jacob had taken many college courses through the Air Force in the communications field and was currently working as a communications and navigations technician.
