Jacob “Jake” F. Bosma
Jacob Bosma was born on February 15, 1943 to Jacob and Florence Bosma in Middlestum, Groningen, the Netherlands and passed away on April 6, 2013 in Bliss, Idaho.
The Bosma family immigrated to the United States when Jake was seven, lived in Michigan for a few years, then moved to Artesia, California where Jake received his education. He operated a feedlot in Chino, California for several years.
In 1991 he moved to Eden, Idaho, and was in the dairy business there for 3 years, and then moved to Bliss, Idaho where he and his brother Henry operated The Grand View Dairy for over 15 years until his death.
Jake enjoyed fishing, going on road trips, and watching the horses run.
Jake is survived by his loving wife Jeri Bosma; his constant companion – his kitty “Jun”; his three children, Greg Bosma, Julie Bosma -De Witt, Michael Bosma, and 12 grand children and 4 great grand children, three brothers, and three sisters, John Bosma, Henry Bosma, Gerrit Bosma, Grace Mulder, Alice Ham, and Florence Batts. He was preceded in death by his son Jacob Bosma.
