DURHAM Mr. Jacob Henry Elliott, 78, of Durham, died on Tuesday, November 06, . Elliott was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Jacob Kirby Elliott and Nannie Belle Yeargan Elliott. He was a U. S. Army veteran and retired after 33 years from Pilot Freight as a Mechanic. He attended Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty is survived by his brother, James K. Elliott of Durham; sister, Dorothy E. Baker of Durham and several nieces and nephews.
